Reconstitution
Preclinical research preparations typically dissolve a 5 mg vial in 1–2 mL bacteriostatic water, yielding a 2.5–5 mg/mL stock solution. Studies commonly further dilute to working concentrations of 200–500 µg/mL.
Published protocols
Rodent-model studies cited by Philp & Kleinman (2010, ANYAS) and Goldstein et al. (2012, Expert Opin Biol Ther) reported parenteral doses in the range of 50–500 µg per animal. No standardised human clinical-research regimen has been established; all characterised protocols are preclinical or veterinary in origin. No human RCT data are available.
Half-life
Pharmacokinetic data for TB-500 specifically are not reported in the cited literature. Thymosin Beta-4 plasma half-life in rodent models has been estimated at approximately 30–70 minutes following parenteral administration; TB-500, as the active fragment, is assumed to follow similar kinetics but this has not been formally characterised.
Post-reconstitution stability
